    After watching way too many customs programmes i have to ask... how do u get into customs?

    Is it a promotion from the gardai or what?

    I think i remember being told that customs vacancies were filled internally through the revenue service!

    Hi OP,
    You have to be working in Revenue and after I think 6 Months you can fill in an expression of interest form to be sent to enforcement which is customs. You cant get in direct or anyother way.
    I dont think Revenue will be recruiting for a while though but you can register on publicjobs to be alerted when a clerical officer position becomes available.
