New Dell 1737 Screen Problem

    Just received a Dell Studio 1737 from the outlet.

    Ive been using it a few minutes and the screen quality is atrocious. Its dull, appears to have "lines" running down it and text is almost completely illegible. Any idea whats wrong? The resolution is set to 1400 x 900 but look terrible at all resolutions.

    The display is listed as 17.0" Widescreen WXGA+ CCFL

    Get on to Dell asap, and get a replacement laptop if needs be, definitely not worth doing anything else if you've literaly just recieved it.
