Getting Photos Printed

Can anyone tell me how much it costs to get regular 4 x 6 prints done in Dublin? I haven't gotten any photos printed in years so have no idea. I thought it might be a nice idea to get some shots printed of our time in poland for the GF's family.

I have a Canon Pixma MP220, ink isn't wildly expensive and the cheap paper on offer in Aldi looks ok. Is it cheaper to print my own?

I recomend printing your own, you get whatever pics you want and you can mess around with the results

Offer into my email yesterday from mypix.com - 250 prints (variety of sizes but including 4x6) for €19.90 including shipping. I haven't used them so this isn't a recommendation but if you have a large-ish batch then it might be worth taking a chance.

mypix all the way for this stuff. After my honeymoon I printed about 200 shots, the place I printed them in gave me adiscount as they saw they were my wedding shots, €60 and that was just over a year ago. A month or two later I purchased 1200 4x6 and 50 8x10 3/4 and a digitaal photobook, that set me back only 170. Great quality. Quick delivery

Wow, that's a fantastic price. In Dublin, the best I've seen was a deal where if you printed a batch of 300+ you'd get them at €0.15 per 6x4, but at €0.07 per print through that 250 batch I think you're not going to get any better.

Printing your own 6x4s is much, much more expensive in comparison. It differs from brand to brand, printer to printer obviously but the average per print is going to be nowhere near €0.15, let alone €0.07.
