2nd Level Support role - Longford

    Lads & Ladies,

    It may be a long shot but I'm looking for quite a few 2nd level support people for roles based in Longford. Initial 12 month daily rate contracts with further extensions up to 3 years. Main points they are looking for is experience with Arcserve, Lotus Notes, SQL and Oracle.

    Market rates apply or you can look at it as a salary based contract. Obviously we'll give you a bit extra considering it's in Longford! Post any questions below or feel free to PM me.

    Your role

    - To accept, diagnose and resolve 2nd level service requests assigned by the Service Desk
    - To assign requests to relevant 3rd parties where request cannot be resolved within the Backup Admin/Support area
    Ideally you will have experience of

    - An excellent working knowledge of Lotus Notes and its interaction with Arcserve would be imperative and key to the success of this support area
    - High-level knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server and BES
    - Experience of working with the IBM 3582 SAN attached tape library system (or similar) as this will be the hardware of choice post-consolidation
    - Arcserve 11.5 and 12.0
    - Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server
    - SAN Hardware –any of the following; IBM FastT600/IBM Exp 700/IBM Exp 100/DS4300 Storage Area Networks, Brocade F08/H16 Fibre fabric Switches, IBM 3582 SAN Attached Storage Tape Library, Qlogic Host Bus Adapters (both AIX and Intel)
    - SAN Software – IBM Storage Manager, Brocade Fabric Manager
