I was in Weirs looking at a watch which was listed at €240 and when i asked how much for cash they said €225.

I decided to go home and google the watch which i found on ebay Hong Kong for US $106 delivered to Hong Kong as i will be going there on monday and staying there for 2months.

However the seller said he dosnt have the warranty card but can give me a 60day warranty from his end. Does this mean its stolen, fake? His feedback is 100% and his communication is very good so im not sure.

The watch seems a very good price but not too good to be true as it is also on ebay.co.uk for £105 delivered so any recommendations?

It's a fake, simple as that.

depends if ebay.co.uk seller is uk based or not, some .co.uk sellers are still based in hong kong

there's probably other reputable sites like amazon etc, or other bricks and mortar shops in dublin, who stock this for somewhere between the ebay price and the weir's price

imo it's not worth the risk for what you'll save

The price, the fact it's in Hong Kong, and no warranty. You can safely assume it's a fake.

Go to a reputable shop in hong kong, there are plenty of upmarket shops that are authorised dealers, ask the hotels or check guides, and surprisingly stuff does not vary much in price between shops. They have proper sony shops etc. Also check out the shop chain called fortress, recommended to me by plenty of chinese people who know their stuff.

The item could be real, but why risk it, many up the price on fakes to make them look more realistic, i.e. trying to make it look not "too good to be true".

Have a look among here, you might find a seiko agent who can recommend a place

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!

Is there a quick way and reliable of excluding Hong Kong from a search ?

Especially the postage scams, similar items on sale from 10-90 with postage from 90-10 so they are ALL at the same price of 100 :mad::mad:
