I'm just coming to the end of a part-time diploma in Holistic massage. I'm a crossroads career wise, coming up to 40. I've enjoyed the course and over recent months have become more and more interested in going towards sports therapy massage or physical therapy with disabled adults/children. I'd like to really broaden my education.
I can go on a do more short ITEC courses. I could also study for part-time Physical Therapy degree in private college, IPTAS. I could attempt to do Physiotherapy but I may be just short on points & I'm not sure how if I could cope with a full-time degree. There is also a degree course in DCU in Athletic therapy & training which looks really interesting. I'd like to know if I spend money on a private degree, such as the IPTAS that it will be worthwhile as I appreicate many people do these types of course every year. Anybody out there done same?
