HD to DVD Problem

Have any of you had experience of this before? A customer has just had a Sky+ to HD Upgrade. With the Sky+ he used a Targa DVD burner to back up a collection of stuff he wanted to keep, worked perfectly. He had a Samsung HD box installed, connected up the burner and when he goes to record onto the the DVD he gets a message saying copying prohibited even though the programmes he tries to record have the red copy option on the screen.

    Any ideas?

Its possible that he is trying to record some movies from his HD box that are prohibited by sky due to their copyright protection, presuming its Macrovision...are you trying to record using scart to scart????

If so only thing I can think of trying is to use an rf cable instead and see if that works....

Tell him to try just playing back the programme in standard Sky+ playback more and record it from there instead of using Copy to do it. Might work for him.
