There's a chance that some of you will have heard of Skuzzi Port, they've been gigging a lot at little festivals and before that NCAD gigs. Just tonight I was helping them out with their website and I know they'd like to have people listen to their tunes, so posting here on their behalf.

Tunes up now on www.skuzziport.com and if you want to hear them live, they're playing this Saturday night in the Purty Loft Dun Laoghaire.

    Comments invited!

Almost a year since the last bump, and things are going well for the Skuzzis! A drummer has joined, giving a real depth to the tunes.

There are previews of two new tunes on the website http://www.skuzziport.com, Close Your Eyes and on the music page, a collaboration with Brazilian quartet Zemaria.

Anyone going to Life Festival this weekend can hear Skuzzi playing right before Ricardo Villalobos on the Human Music stage; Skuzzi are on from 12 noon - 2pm tomorrow Saturday.

The gig at Life festival went really well - lots of people out enjoying the sun at the lakeside during the Skuzzi set.

Knockanstockan was another highlight of the summer - Skuzzi played 11-midnight in the circus tent and kept the tent a'hopping.

The big news is that they are playing a gig at the Electric Picnic on Friday night, from 9pm to 10pm on the Arcadia stage - that's the one with the big tower in the middle and the the flamethrowers on it!

Here's a recording of a new tune - still a bit of polishing left to do, and all comments welcome.
