Spock, that's nothing. We forget that McLovin worked in Game - now that's a real claim to fame.

No, he's not. Just some guy that people on here thought looked like him. They posted a pic and everything.
Really cool to hear about this by the way.

haha just listed to that interview. the face on the other guy when he said he had good craic in galway.

Yeah, i got asked to take it down by someone who claimed to be a relative :(

It got way outta hand in all fairness. He's a mate of mine and he got tortured night and day by people who just came in to look at him and shout "McLovin'" at him.

T'was funny for a while, but the extent to which it got was not cool.

Anyhoo, Zachary Quinto is class. Nice that Java's has that little claim to fame.

Yeah he used to be a waiter at Javas, around 2005, my first year in college.

I just found out today who spock is. I'm no fan of star wars but its cool that someone from the big screen used to work in galway. Is java a coffee shop. Where is. Must find the place and go in for coffee and ask them if this is true.

Who the hell is McLovin. Is he a movie star? Name rings a bell to me but cant think of the movie. Lets see! Would it be bad boys. That movie with the guy from knocked up.

Edit: just read back on this thread again, and just copped that it was a McLovin lookalike.

    Who is Bon Iver?

Javas is near CP's nightclub, yeah its true he was there, he worked there during the summer of 2005.
I think Mclovin is a character from Superbad.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 201 ✭✭shreksaurus

Superbad, thats the movie, thanks redshoulder. I couldn't for the life of me think of the movie.

And Spock's a character from Star Trek, not Star Wars:p

It's stupid that Expose left the fact that he worked in Galway to such a minor question.

Yup, but then it is Expose. There's a reason that none of the presenters are moonlighting on Prime Time.

Because prime time is crap and they're idiots?

Managed to get around all the filters there. image the worst possible thing you could say and multiply it by words that don't exist yet.

    An Expose fan. Bless.

I don't need words that don't exist yet. I can just follow your example and use ones that do exist inappropriately. :p

That's ok.They sound hawwt.I'll mangle it into a compliment just to be awkward.

Had you gone for "inverted downdraft gassifier" it would not have ended so well...

Ooh. Bon Iver? We should try and ask him about it when he comes over for the Arts Festival. Skinny Love was my favourite song of 2007!

And McLovin has a beard and contacts now.

Im in work and cant view the video but are you sure it was the summer of 2005 he worked in Javas because he was already quite a famous TV star at the time, seems strange he would go from working on one of the greatest TV shows ever to a cafe in galway!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,644 ✭✭✭Asmodean

Would that be 24? Damn i constantly forget he was in that!

Good stuff. He shall be remembered as Spock only, and Adam(?) from 24. I don't know who Sylar is, never heard of him.
