I dyed my hair tonight, got really bad scalp stains and I'm going to England tomorrow so I wanna know if there's a way to get rid of it now? I've washed my hair about 5 times, still there.

Apparently the peroxide stuff is supposed to be really good at taking it off. My hairdresser used it and it worked a treat.. dunno if you've any left over though.

Other than that I vaguely remember someone telling me that baby oil was good? Maybe give it a go?

    Sorry that's all I know.

Iv also heard of using lemon juice! I know people use it to take off tan but apparently it works for hair dye too.

I dyed my hair a very dark brown and left it on a bit too long and had really bad black stains all over my ears, neck and forehead....tried EVERYTHING!!!

Only one that helped was straight vodka....but tis a shame to waste it!!!

You can buy a bottle of remover in Terrisales on Middle Abbey Street. I don't know the name of it but I'm sure if you ask the assistant they'll know what it is. It' in a white bottle, only about a tenner. Magic stuff, it's great for getting off fake tan mistakes too.

It's not a help at the moment, but next time, put Vaseline all around your hairline before dying your hair!!!

The dye remover can only remove dye at the time...not days later unfortunately.

Even hairspray on a cotton ball can remove hair dye if you apply it immediately.
