Matt blak oil E1350 inc vat enamel about E1550 aliner is needed usually and its important that if your plumber installs it that its properly commisioned. The draught of the flue affects oil stoves a lot more than solid fuel stoves too much draught or too little can casue trouble for the oil stoves and a commisioned one should take this into account.
Where are you based re suppliers?

The main agents, I believe, are based in Co Clare, but they will deliver.

Most important thing is ensuring that you have a good draught on the flue, otherwise, you may have to install a chimney fan.

We've had one for several years. At first it was smoky and smelly, but then we had it serviced and the service guy checked it and said it needed a chimney fan. When that was installed, it has worked absolutely flawlessly since. No smoke, no smell, just lots of heat.

Oh, also important to ensure that you have the right kind of boiler. In certain areas, depending on the type of water, you may need a copper boiler rather than the standard stainless steel one.

    Hope this helps,

    E.
