Astana seems to have been in trouble for a while. News leaked out a while back about them not paying salaries for a while. I'm assuming that it isn't a conincidence we are hearing about Lance thinking of forming his own team.

yea I saw this a while ago ... It seems that Lance is not taking a salary from Astana either ! .... all very strange ..... usually the UCI comes down hard on teams, but just like everything else that Lance is involved in this year they are turning a blind eye !
