i took delivery of a new focus cayo 105 yesterday and its great.

well, except when you spin the front wheel slowly you can hear a fair amount of debris cascading inside the rim.

    i know:

i havent had a chance to take the tyre off and have a look yet but has anyone else come across this?

Sounds like a loose nipple that was never retrieved from the rim innards when the wheel was being laced up. Major pain but you shouldn't hear anything a speed. Just take the wheel to your bike shop (not the whole bike) and ask them to get it for you. They'll charge you for it.

You can get it out yourself if you want, you just need to take off the tyre and tube and get it out the valve hole. It's a bit like one of those puzzles with the balls in them :) Do it the next time you have a puncture.

It doesn't do any harm, just makes a noise.

I have something making ting-ting noises inside my frame! Not as easy to get that out :)

Got mine 2 weeks ago and no rattles or creaks yet thank god, if its just the spoke nipple then that doesnt sound too bad otherwise i'd be pissed!

yea, im very happy with it so far, the wheel thing is totally fine, it will even make my first front puncture seem less annoying because ill be able to get the rattle out!

unless of course it doesn't fit out the hole...
