Tool Bar Missing

    I've just logged onto boards.ie on my laptop from UCD the toolbar is missing... again. It's been a long running problem and only happens when I'm in UCD. What do you think could be the problem?

    I imagine UCD is blocking something.

    You're better off asking in the UCD forum or IT services.

    IT Services will more then likely refuse to assist, if its anything like WIT. College network is for college work only, educational websites and the like and not message boards is the usual response.

    I'll try the UCD forum, I may find it a little more helpful than I would IT services....

    UCD routes all of its traffic through proxies which seem to have difficulty with the large volume of traffic and will often serve up corrupt our out of date pages from its cache. This has been going on since boards has had the menu at the top and I was surfing from UCD, so years.

    Only option really is to continually hit Ctrl + F5 and eventually it may come back.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
