Hi all...I am a GCD graduate and was just wondering are there any others lurking around here?

I studied, worked AND lived there at various points and still have a few connections with the place.

What did you do/study there and is it an area you are working in now?

Graduated in September 2006 with a degree in Journalism and Media.

Worked in mainly local paper until I moved to Australia in 2007. Was working as a website editor in the mining industry for over a year but was made redundant in March just gone.

I do freelance sports writing on the side.

Hi Xavi....hmmmm i bet we knew eachother so!!! Think thats when i graduated from Journalism and Media!! Or maybe it was '05??!

I don't work in it :( Ireland is too small and I have no connections. Got into marketing instead which is ok but is turning into more sales now which I'm not happy about!!

Graduated last year with a MSc in Computing (did it part-time).

It hasn't helped my career (yet - I haven't tried changing job since getting it), but it looks nice on my CV. :)
