    Whats your current warm-up routine that you wish change.

    In our training, the warm up seems to be different every session. Sometimes it's a 5-a-side handpassing game, or a jog around in a circle with handpassing, even 2 laps of the field.

    And as impled by the title, it is just for that purpose warming up.

    Suppose it depends on the manager whose training the team.

    Example 24 man panel.
    Run around the rectangle for 2 laps.

    Stretch in a large circle, go around to each member and slelect a stretching excerise and count out for 10sec, and onto the next man etc.

    Break up the group into 6 x 4 groups.
    Typical warm up, 15min with the ball.

    4 cones e.g. below:

    * * ^
    !

    15ft
    !
    * * !

    Two groups of 12 players running in the same direction, skipping to the Left, Right side to side etc.
    The group on the right will change the opposite direction and will now be running at the group.

    ENTER THE Footballs!! Try and get 4/5 in!

    Both sides will exchange passes by shouting the players name, usually 60% tempo and increase from there on.

    You can throw the balls up high, roll towards the player along the ground etc.

    This may take 15min

    Then we go into a kicking drill where we kick diagnaly and run straight.
    Increase up to 60%, then 75% and lastly flat out.

    Try and use 2 balls to keep the group going!
