    Hi,

I want to register a .ie name for a business that I may be going live with, I don't have a company registered yet as I don't want to incur too much cost at this early stage but I don't want the domain to be taken, is there anything I can do?

Also, I will eventually want to be taking money through the site as well as having it securely hosted, is this something you can facilitate?

    Thanks in advance

The simplest way of getting a .ie is to get a registered business name via the CRO (cost is about €20)
Once you have the RBN you can register the .ie domain.
If you form a LTD company at a later stage you can always update the domain holder

    We offer SSL certs etc.,

If you have any other questions please let us know

There seems to be a delay of 4-6 weeks in getting RBN. Any way to register pending RBN?

You can submit the registration request and the IEDR *might* (at their discretion) accept the receipt you got from the CRO as proof pending receipt of the actual RBN
