Hi Im new here and Im wondering what the policy is on using foul language. I've read the rules and charter but cant find any mention of it. I know its tolerated on Digital Spy as long as some *** are used. Id like to know this just in case the odd profanity slips into any of my posts.

    Thanks

Don't worry about it too much. There's an autofilter in place which will change most swear words into a line of **** anyway. People have ways around it, and we're not overly concerned about it. Though the rules on forums vary and in some places you may get a warning for liberally sprinkling your posts with profanity - largely because it makes your post less readable, not because we're concerned about offending anyone. The odd **** or **** here and there make no difference though.
