Hi. Have recently set up a maplin fortec sat kit. Receiving most channels such as BBC1/2/3/4 and getting ITV 1 and 2 but not getting ITV 3 and 4. Also not getting channel 4 channels. Why are my getting some channels but not others???

Did it come pretuned if so u mite need to rescan as some channels might have moved frequency since u bought it.

If not it could be possible that the dish is slightly offline or you might simply want to retune it...as new channels are added and die off all the time

I didn't actually set it up myself a friend did it. I think it was pre tuned to look for channels at certain frequncies. So I will try rescan for missing channels. I just found the tuning guide on an earlier posting so I'll try that, hopefully it will work.

Yeah, try the tuning guide thread I have on a sticky, it should tell you everything you need to know frequency wise. :)

Nice one delighted to hear you got it sorted. I would recommend scanning every couple of months as there always channels starting and dying off...
