Not suprised after the winter just gone, it was always going to be hard for a 10 year old to add much more to his pre-lay off career when he came back last year. The Toshiba Irish Champion Hurdle was the last of 10 grade 1 wins which ain't too shabby.

Great horse, hope he has a long happy retirement!

Good, hopefully the Hardy Eustace connections follow suit instead of embarrasing the horse further.

Some of you will know my involvement and it was a simple decision which he made for us. We always said we would let him tell us. We presumed he would be retired after his injury but Colm said he was buzzing at home. But he's had a lot of problems this year that people just don't hear about and they were catching up with him and we always said he would decide and he did. Some have asked me "what do you say" and I reply "it was one hell of a spin!!"

Happy retirement to the Inca. Totally agree with the poster above, surely Hardy's connections will retire him soon, surely he cant go on for another season.

May he enjoy a well earned retirement. Gave us one hell of a spin as cantoris has said....10 grade 1s...Excellent achievement...
