Government gets Tax take estimates wrong (again)

    Shock! Horror!

    The goverment tax take is down (so far) by 24% this year.

    The geniuses in the dept of finance predicted a 16% drop for the year.

    Presumably this 24% deficit will increase as unemployment creeps up and the vicious circle of job losses and declining sales bites deeper into the economy.

    I wonder if we will have another "emergency" budget.

    Its high time these jokers threw in the towel.
