    Hi Guys,

Help needed. Basically I work for a Company that work to yearly targets with the target due to be hit Sept 1st. The targets were set the previous Sept with no readjustment taking into account the arse falling out of the economy.

A lot of people are now worried about the safety of their jobs for failing to hit their end of year target (If that happens) No performance training / reviews have been carried out so far this year and management are not indicating one way or another what is going to happen.

Can the Company simply let people go for non achievement of target without prior warnings / review meetings taking place. Clarification from management is not forthcoming in the issue.

    Thanks for responses.
