    Hey,

I've done some searching on old threads, but none seem to give any opinion on this place.

What's it like? Is it very formal (dress code, etc)? Does it get busy, ie. do you need to book a table in advance? I notice it's also a Casino so I assume you can just sign up for membership easily on the door?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

The tables are in fairly food condition, but are all very old. Some are practice tables from the Irish Open in the late eighties.

The casino aspect annoys me, as there is a door into the casino right beside the 1st and 2nd tables, with people coming and going all the time.

The times I have been there, there was a lot of noise from people getting pizza/take aways etc delivered.

Other times it has been quiet though, so it depends on a few things.

I remember back in the days before the Casino it was quite good, played Angus McInally (spelling ??) in a league match many years ago on the top table. They have no league team any more as far as I know, but not many clubs do nowadays.

Its also quite pricey, a tenner an hour at least I think.

Theres not much else out that neck of the woods so the choice is limited.
