    Greetings all.

Can anyone recommend a good Christian-based parenting book? I have 3 boys aged 8, 11 and 17 and I could do with some direction on the subject.

    Thanks and God bless,
    Noel.

kelly1: Just interested are your boys involved in the Church? Maybe you should ask your priest about Catholic youth programmes, trips to Lourdes etc. I don't know much about what they do, but I think that it might help them to gain a deep grounding in their faith.

Good Idea but I think the OP ment a book that help them apply biblical teachings to how they raise their children so that their childern can fully grow in the truth.

Thanks guys, but what I'm after is a general parenting book based on Christian principles, not a book about teaching my children about Christianity.

The problem with that is that the principals of Christianity are so vague , contradicting and in some places down right vile that you could read a 100 books and get a different opinion every time , good parenting is good parenting it is not dictated by religion , Pick up DR Phils book he is a christian and pratical it's about as good a compramise as your going to get
