Advent 7109B Laptop No Sound.

    Advent 7109B Laptop No Sound. (XP Media Center).

    The device manager is reporting that the audio drivers are installed OK.

    There is one item in the "System Devices" displaying an exclamation mark & the only details available for it is "PCI Device" & it must be related to the sound but I'm damned if I can find the driver for it.

    Try downloading the sound driver from here.
    Let us know how you get on.

    Excellent RoadKillTs, that was a newer version than the one installed & when I installed over with this one it sorted out the sound.
