1st anniversary present

Hey,

Its my first wedding anniversary soon. Any ideas for gifts? I know its traditionally paper so has anybody got any quirkey ideas?? Cheers.

Flight tickets to a romantic destination perhaps.... or a picture from your wedding day made into a canvas. concert tickets, spa voucher, caricature print from your honeymoon or wedding. you can actually get happy first anniversary toilet roll!:rolleyes: check out www.justpaperroses.com

Hi,i know that for 1st anniversary presents have to be something from cotton,like towels,bedding sets etc.

We had a meal where we had our wedding meal - we still make a bigger deal of the anniversary of our first date as that was a lot longer than our wedding if that makes any sense - we normally go to Paris for that.

In the end of the day the biggest present that your oh got was having you in their life.

Ok I am biased being a photographer but my first anniversary present to my hubbie was a photo session. We did a trash the dress shoot with a friend of mine taking the shots. It was the most amazing experience ever, we had a ball, and I suppose it could translate into paper when you actually get the pritns!

I have to say we had more fun together than ont he day of the wedding almost as it was just the two of us together having a laugh for a couple of hours, we even stood on the side of the road hitch hiking in our wedding gear anbd had our pics taken in the Phoenix Park!

"Me to You" do nice memory/scrap books, I got one for the wife and she keeps paper memories in it like concert tickets, flight tickets and special photos etc.

It wasnt expensive but it is still going years later!!
