I got my existing car via Deerpark, although it was a trade to trade deal. They are a reputable dealer.

You're only going to get 'good news' here on Boards I am afraid.

Once any negative feedback starts appearing, the thread will get locked and deleted for fear of legal repurcussions.

These guys are reputable anyway so I wouldn't be expecting anything negative.

Friend of mine recently bought her car from there and has had no problems.

I went up to view a car up there around a year or 2 ago. They knew I was coming. The car I went to view was not in a very 'clean' state. It was fairly manky both inside and outside. I just felt that this wasnt the best presentation of a car as they knew for a while I was going up to view, and even knew the day and time. Didnt buy it in the end.

They do seem to have nice stock a lot of the time, but at the same time not everything I've not heard about them has been good.

I think the cars are generally pretty solid, but I think there have been a few sales issues.

Check the end of this thread. I've called in a couple of times to view cars, and had the same experience as antodeco. I gave them notice, but the car was filthy and they had no interest in dealing with me.

I had a bad experience with them (about 2 years ago).

I was keen to buy a car they had advertised, but when I arrived it had the starter motor out for repairs.

Left my name & details, arranged to go back following week, but car still not driveable.

They said they would call me when it was ready, but didn't get a call. Went back a week later to be told car was sold - I never got a chance to make an offer.

Maybe it was just a particular salesman.

I went out with the intention of buying a car a few years ago(around 05 I think). It was a low value car but I'd have thought they'd like it sold. No one came near me despite me being in and aroudn the cars for around 20 mins. I had phoned the day before and got the impresstion the guy wasnt interested in doing anythign to sell a car that was going for less than 2k.

I've always wondered what's the catch with them, because their prices on some of their cars have always been dodgily cheap. Is it just a case of them being cheap to move stock on quickly?

I bought a car from them over a year ago. Found them really good to deal with and had some work done under warranty that was quite expensive. No quibbles, they sent the car to a specialist gearbox place and let me check with them myself that work was done. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with them again.
