    Alright folks.
Now that the all the hype from the weekend should be dying down there's a final to be played this weekend in Thomond Park between Shannon and Clontarf. This is the perfect opportunity for a Munster side to get their revenge over a Leinster side.

What's the story with tickets for this thing? Do you just pay on the gate or do you have to buy them from somewhere? Will Thomond be full for it?

    Cheers.

Yep it's pay at the gate and I too doubt it will be full.

I think to bill it as a time for munster to get payback on leinster is a bit much considering the Munster teams are the dominant sides in the league. I think it would be great for rugby as a whole if 'Tarf win.
Should be a good match with both sides seeming to be playing good rugby in the run up to this final.

My heart says 'Tarf but my head says Shannon.

So 'Tarf to win by 2.

Tarf have beaten Shannon on their last 2 visits to Limerick so Shannon will fully know what to expect. Clontarf have lost 2 AIL Finals, to Ballymena (who called up 9 Ulster Squad players for the final and to Shannon a few years back who sprung Quinlan & Stephen Keogh from the bench to beat us handily. There's a new rule this season that players have to play a number of league games to be allowed play in the final, this should work in Clontarf's favour.
My heart says Tarf but i reckon Shannon owe us one. Here's hoping the rain stays away so both teams can shine

I'd say there will be a decent crowd but nowhere near filling the stadium.

I've been witness to Clontarf beating us in Limerick twice recently including in Thomond Park when we had to listen to chants of "easy easy" and the like.It was all very good humoured and I must say I have huge respect for the Clontarf fans who were there in sizable numbers.Hopefully they will bring down a good contingent this time as well. Also any team that can beat Con in Temple Hill in the manner Clontarf did require respect.Plus I love seeing Con being beaten for some reason.

Hopefully it will be a great game if the weather can do us a favour and I hope Shannon can win it obviously although I can understand that a lot of neutrals would like to see Clontarf win as it's always nice when it's not the same teams winning all the time.
