    With CNN predicting these levels of US PPV buy rates it truly means manny has moved into the mainstream and potentially can take over oscars "golden boy" cash crop status !!

    I think alot of ppl underestimate too how popular and liked ricky hatton is wherever he goes. he always brings huge crowds and huge uk ppv figures and apparently attracted alot of mexican ppv buys in the US.

    Boxing is coming back in a big way in 2009. ESPN have been showing alot of boxing highlights in US since mosley v margarito fight as its tv viewership figures went down a storm when it was made free to view. Boxing needs to put on lots of semi big fights on terrestial tv if they want this progress to continue so that we can return to boxing viewership hayday of the 70s.
