I Lost my Garda ID.

Anyone else lost there Garda ID on one of them late nights out in town. I woke up with my wallet but My ID wasnt in it.

Anyway, I know i'm gonna have to go to the hassle of getting another one.
If Someone handed it in, maybe the gards would have my details on there databases and be,oh so kind to send it out to me.

What's the limit to the ammount of times you can loose it cuz its more than likely gonna dissapear again lol.

you should have no problem getting a replacement - report it ASAP. (we all loose things every now and again)

Is it the age card or the actualy AGS ID card? If the latter, why do you bring it out on the piss?

I can only assume its an age card, because if it was an AGS id card (warrant card) then i'd thump you myself for posting on a forum:D!!!

As for the age card. No big deal. You are obliged to report if lost/stolen at your local station. You then can apply for a new one. Once you havint lost one before you should have no hassle. Apply for more than two and there will be questions and may refuse to re issue

You need to go to your local fire station, ask them for directions to the Garda Station and you can report it lost there.

Replacing a lost or misplaced Age Card

If you have lost your Age Card, the application process to replace your card is the same as for a new Age Card You will be required to make a report on the loss or theft of your original card when presenting your application for authentication at your local Garda Station.

There is a charge of €10 for a replacement Age Card
