Hopefully this is the right place to post this as most of the posts here seem to be about watches.

I've a bit of a thing for mechanical clocks. I've a clock that chimes or cuckoo's in every downstairs room except the hall. I've been toying with the idea of getting a decent grandfather clock for the hall for some time now.

Has anybody any recommendations of anywhere in Ireland that does this sort of clock. It must be mechanical and preferably have a 'night off' function and a Westminster chime but if I could get one with a few different chimes then all the better.

Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.

There's a place near christchurch that usually has a good selection and for a change for Ireland the prices aren't mad. Can't recall the name sorry, maybe others have the name?

Maybe a shopping trip to Britain? They will be cheaper, sometimes very much cheaper with more of a selection too.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
