"Fringe proved to be a notable addition to our schedule all season, and it really has fans buzzing as it builds to a fantastic season finale," said Kevin Reilly, president of entertainment at Fox. "J.J. and the whole Bad Robot team have been phenomenal partners, and we look forward to years of making great television with them.”

Says series co-creator and executive producer Abrams: “Fringe continues to gain momentum, creatively and with viewers. We couldn't be more thrilled that Fringe will continue to freak people out for at least another season!"

Helped by a strong lead-in from House in the fall and American Idol during the spring, Fringe is the No. 1 rated new series among the adult demo.

I'm not too worried about Dollhouse as I can take or leave that, but I really hope TSCC gets renewed. I know a lot is riding on the Terminator movie. Fingers crossed!

*Shrug* Yeah, I'll watch the second season but the show has still yet to really grab my interest. Not sure if it's Torv's performance or the scripts but I just haven't been able to get into it despite John Noble's great performances. The ZFT stuff is interesting, and I like playing Spot-the-Observer each week, but still there's something lacking.

Oh no, I was hoping they'd kill it. Really hasn't been that great I thought.

I guess I'll keep watching to see what happens but I was hoping it'd be tied up a lot sooner.

I think that more people would have an interest in Fringe, had there not been a lot of messing and delays spitting out the episodes so far. Aren't they now filming in Vancouver instead of LA to get the costs down?

    Yep, they're using Vancouver instead.

I don't mind it, it's far from brilliant and a bit weak, but hey.
