    Hi,

    Im looking at buying a used car.

    I have my eye on a 2002 Audi A3 1.9 TDi 130Bhp.

    I would prefer to get an S3 but my budget wont stretch that far and I wouldnt be able to afford the runnings costs for an S3. My budget is 5-6k and I'll probably travel to the UK to get one.

    Has anyone ever driven one of these and if so can they give me an honest review of it in terms of performance, reliability, efficiency?

    Ive read up on it on the net but there doesnt seem to be much in terms of owners reviews.

    Any help is welcome!

    I had a loan of one they feel much smaller than the A6 or Passat.

    The rear space is very poor especially with a tall driver.

    I would look for an A6 or Passat.

    Stay away from poverty spec models.

    Hi OP,

    I owned an 04 Audi A4 130bhp tdi. I have to say it was probably the best car i have ever owned. Very reliable, unbelievable build quality, great on diesel (i used to get over 600mls to a tank!!) and more than enough power!

    I had the pleasure of driving an 04 A4 for a while and to be honest I really didnt want my 05 Golf back after it, its was just a beautiful car to drive, next car will be an A3 or an A4, no doubt.

    Guys OP is asking about the A3 not the A4.

    OP I'd imagine the A3 suffers from the same common problems as the MkIV Golf as they are basically the same car.
