with the exception of Desmond showing up in Jacks flashback are any of the characters who've showed in others peoples flashbacks who went to the island, (i.e. Libby in Hurleys) still alive?

Walt appeared in Lockes flashback in the life and death of Jeremy Bentham but if you mean before flight 815 crashed. Off the top of my head I don't think so.
