Sick during exams

I was just wondering if anybody has any information as to what UCCs policy is with regard to the examinations and illness. At the moment I've tonsillitis and pharyngitis and unfortunately I start my exams in like 5 days. But I'm not sure if I still have to sit them, or if a medical note will suffice and they arrange re-sits or something? Anybody any experience with this?
    Help?! :(

Doctor's note will give you an exemption for now, you'll have to sit them in August with the repeats but you'll still get graded as the May ones, rather than the repeats which are pass/fail, no percentages. Try the admin office?

    Hope you feel better soon!

If you do miss an exam due to illness make sure you get a doctor's note.
Then when you feel better, I'd imagine you should go to the Student Records and Examinations office in the Quad and explain the situation to them.

As the previous poster said, you'll have to repeat the exams you miss in August.

    Hey yay_for_summer and Knife-WREEENCH,
thanks for your help. I contacted the examinations office and they said to hand in a medical note which will be forwarded to my department. The head of my department said that the examinations board will take into account that I shall be sick whilst sitting my exams. I also have until July to apply for mitigation if I feel that I haven't preformed to my best.

    Thanks again!
Hopefully I'll get better soon :o
