I have a Nissan Micra and i'm tired of getting it repaired, as soon as i fix one thing, something else goes wrong. its getting annoying.

I want to get a Renault Clio 00 - 02 and i am wondering if anyone has come across any issues with theirs, or knows of any well known problems with the Clio that i should look out for?

i really don't want to buy another lemon :o so any help would be much appreciated

If you want reliability above all else, as decent as the clio is, you might be better off looking at another Micra or a Yaris.

How olds your current car? Very unusual to have problems with them (presuming its not the current model)

    It's a 94,

have replaced the gearbox, clutch and ignition

having issues with the electrics, starter motor, breaks, the timing chain is off too. i can get them replaced as i have a donor car in my front yard i keep taking parts from, but i have spent so much money on it at this stage i think i could get a better car which doesn't have continuous problems for a little bit extra.

You unlucy with that micra, the Mrs has a 99 Clio. Has it 8 months.

Great little car, plenty of room inside compared to a micra. Previous

owner had the timing belt done plus replaced an engine sensor(which

often go on ant 10year old car). Lovely car to drive. You could get a good

one. Nows good time for buying.
