Best place to buy a PS3?

    Heya,

    I've decided to buy a PS3 and was just wondering where the best place to buy one was and if there's any bundles you'd recommend. Is it worth getting the 160GB version or should I just got with the 40GB/80GB one? Could anyone reccomend some games apart from Killzone 2,Resistance 2,GTA4,MGS4,LBP and Uncharted? I already have a lot of the bigger multi-platform games on my xbox so preferably ps3 exclusives.

    What kind of price difference is there between the 80 and 160gig ones? The harddrive is easy to replace so I'd probably go for the 80gig and if space becomes an issue then upgrade. :)

    I hate doing this cause I hate people doing this to me but ive a ps3 for sale a 40gig if your interested, I seriously got it for MGS4 and barely played it afterwards.. I played a little of killzone 2 and little big planet but much preferred my xbox..

    Its got all the boxes and everything!

    How reliable is the PS3 btw? I'm thinking of getting a 60gig off adverts (for the bc), but obviously that means its quite old. If it does fail, will Sony repair it outside of warranty (would cost me i know)?

    It would cost you 160 euro for a refurb from Sony if it fails.

    I hell of a lot more reliable than an Xbox 360 anyway! :D

    I have posted elswhere looking for advice in buying a PS3 & thanks to those that helped.


    i Bought a 40 GB PS3 in PC World for €297

    plus

    MGS 4, Uncharted & GT 5 Prologue all preplayed for € 39 iN XTRA VISION


    Legends of wwe (NEW) & little big planet (preplayed) for €46 in HMV

    So ps3 plus extra pad, 5 games all in for €382.

    I know Smyths have a great deal, PS3 80GB with Killzone 2, any game of your choice and two from the platinum range, think you get an extra controller (one of those ****ty logic3 ones), for about €440? :o
