    Hi

My sis lives in Cherrywood and want to change provider. She was with 3 mobile then took out Vodafone today. The Vodafone mobile connect seems slower then 3 was!

When we do a speed test, it gives a download result but not a upload result? So she is thinking of returning it within the 7 day period because of this.

Download speed with Vodafone connect is 0.46mbps on speedtest with a 332s ping and no upload result being returned??

Is o2 any better? Or anyone else or should she stick with three?

    Any help appreciated :)

    Get the meteor broadband

there network is capable of 14.4mbps and the modem is capable of 7.2mbps

so in other words meteor have alot more capacity.

Meteor only have a few thousand on there network so speeds and performance wuld be satisifactory...FOr now.

Again keep hush if it is good as if you recommend it to your friends..bam goes your good connection

Get real broadband unless you need it on the go

As customers add the speed on Mobile degrades horribly.

Meteor will be the same as 3 or vodafone in 6 months.

It's only the number on your local mast that counts. Not the whole network.

You're snookered on the broadband too. I live in cherrywood for a few years now and the only service provider is Eircom and it's an awful service. Barely get 3mb while the ramparts across the way have UPC and 50mb downloads !!! I've been on about this literally for years. It's a massive pain! May as well be living in the sticks!
