Downloading problem

    I bought ratchet and clank off the store and i cant download it. when i try it says there is not enough space on the harddisk. the game is 3181mb and i have over 7 gb space. can someone help me pls?

    Hi Tommy.
    Have you changed the hardrive and if so what way was it formated. NTSC or FAT32..?

    If you are still using the same HD that came with it I have no idea..?

    How are you getting the figure of 7GB left?

    Are you getting it from System Settings>System Information?

    If not, check that.

    Just want to make sure you are not estimating how much you have left because even an 80GB PS3 only actually has 74GB of free space you can use.

    So I imagine a 40GB only has 36GB you can use etc.

    No i didnt change the hardrive and i got the space from system information. im gonna try download something else around the same size and see if that works.

    i got it. just made a load more space and it downloaded. over two hours it took. thanks anyway
