    40% not pounds.

And it's only on what the seller pays to sell the item.

So if you buy something for 100 pounds then the seller pays roughly 10 pounds ebay fees and you get 40% of that 10 pounds.

But I've heard reports that Ebay are very poor at paying out.

I've used quidco in the past and it's great. As an Irish customer you can only earn up to £50 in one year however as far as I know.

I use www.bethrifty.ie which is an Irish referal site like quidco now and find it great. In the space of 2 months I've racked up nearly €30 in payback. One example of their offers is €7 return on any purchase with inkclub. Several items on inkclub can be bought and delivered for less than €7.

I use quidco quite a lot as they have great % returns on hotels and flights (which www.bethrifty.ie not always offers).

Quidco keep the first 5£ you earn as fee once a year but than the rest is all yours.

Only problem is that you can earn maximum 50£ if you don't have a UK bank account as their maximum outpay via paypal is 50£.

I don't have that problem as the virtual mastercard I use (ivobank.com) gives me a UK bank account where all my cashback goes.

I found quickco pays relativly fast and most tracking works fine in the 1st place.

That's interesting. What are the fees associated with using the virtual mastercard like? I looked up ivobank but the site seems to be closed for maintenance.

Loading via SEPA (you get an IBAN number for the account that is linked to the card) is free, so is withdrawing back to your own account via SEPA.

Loading via credit/debit card costs some money but I think it's waived until June or something, check when the site comes back.

Transfering money to bank accounts in some countries they do business in (Germany, UK, Ireland, Spain, Canada) is free too via SEPA. They charge I think a 1.7% conversion fee if it's not in €. So you could load your account via SEPA (Free) and than pay anybody in the UK for no fee at all.

Using the virtual card also costs nothing (unless it's not € than it's 1.7% if I remember right).

It's a real bank (unlike some of the prepaid debit cards like netteller or entropay) and hence they are guaranteed under the UK bank scheme.
