Cutting and layering hair extensions

    Hi there,

I have a thick set of clip in hair extensions, while my own hair is shoulder length.

My problem is that when I bought them, they were cut quite bluntly with a scissors and look very unnatural.

I really want to get some nice layers cut into them, to create a proper style...I think i heard somewhere they should be cut with a razor?

I am based in Dublin and any help or info regarding a good place to get this done would be greatly appreciated?

    Thanks :)

i had the same problem and turns out certain salons wont go near them with a scissors (because the extensions apparently blunt the scissors) i found this out after going to 3 separate salons :( if u can find a hairdresser that uses a razor they will most likely do it i ended up going to a local girl (that i knew) and she did a gr8 job on mine but told me ill never get an even cut on them but they look fine now :D
