No idea where the cheapest place to buy this, I usually try to get it at Heathrow Duty Free. Bought a solid version last year - really great. Failing that go for the Eau de Parfum, or Parfum, both more expensive than the Eau de Toilette but worth the money. They stay on the skin longer as they have a higher oil content.
You could take the girlfriend to Paris for the weekend and get a bottle if Sephora on the Champs Elyses.

Hmm...a weekend in Paris might be just a little out of my budget. Only being going out a while so it a bottle of perfume or something not too expensive.

Awh coco chanel perfume is a lovely idea. The cheapest place i've bought it is in duty free. The price of it otherwise doesn't seem to vary at all. I bought the 50ml version and its big enough because it lasts for ages. Otherwise buy the deodrant spray in it (Smell lasts way longer) and buy her something else small with it ;)

Anybody know where to get either the perfume or the deoderent?

Any Chanel counter at Arnotts, Debhenams, Brown Thomas, Harvey Nicks etc.

Mademoiselle is gorgeous. My better half wears it and I love it. Buy the biggest you can afford as she'll love it. If you don't need it in a hurry, try online. Beautybay, Cheap Smells and Send Me Scent usually have good prices, especially the way the currency is. They're in the U.K. too so no import duty. I think Cheap Smells lets you pay for shipping individually, so you don't have to buy a bundle to make the shipping more economical.

Would The Perfume Shop sell Coco Mademoiselle - they're usually good value.

It is her birthday next week and I have exams soon so I have limited time to get it. So I am trying to get it in Dundalk but I will go into Dublin if I can't get it at home. She has the perfume, so would I be better gettting the deoderent? It is more in my price range and we havent been going out long either and wont be for much longer due to unfortunate circumstances preventing it.

You could look for a gift set. Usually works out not alot more than just the perfume, and it may have a deodorant and shower gel.

As far as I know, Dublin Airport is where you'll find the bets prices.

(Yes I work there, but I'm not being biased, I swear :p)

We're generally 20% cheaper then down town, and right now we're running a 40% cheaper then down town promo on selected lines, so if your travelling, or know someone who is travelling, (oh, and staff can buy too, so if you know someone who works there, make them buy it for ya) in honestly is worth waiting to buy at the airport.

Thanks but the birthday is next week so I have limited time. I had a sister who just recently traveled, I really should have been thinking.

I think considering the circumstances the deoderant spray would be a good choice. Get her that with something small, maybe some chocs and you're set! As has been said before, the price doesn't really vary in normal shops, probably because it's always in demand because it's so gorgeous

Debenhams have an offer on fragrances at the moment. I bought a bottle of perfume there yesterday that was 10euro less than in the purfume shop up the road, and they are normally the cheapest. I think thats on for the next few days.

    Thanks for the advice.
I will see what offers are happening in Dundalk at the weekend and then if I didn't get anything I will go into Dublin and try and get the deodorant.

Go to Newry and get it in Debhenams up there. Cheaper than down south. And to be honest, I'd be a bit disappointed with just the deodorant. I'd kinda want the perfume. Get the body lotion and deodorant if you're not going for the perfume. Will make a nice set.
