Are there any boxing clubs in cork, if so where abouts and does anyone go to them whos on here?

    cheers

From the city myself, cobh isnt too far I guess. Is it the fact that boxers generally dont start at my age that no where in cork city would take me?

Havent tried looking yet, thought i'd come here first rather than just walking into a club somewhere. Dont know any boxers in cork either. Im in realtive good shape, at the moment im 6foot 4 and 115kg. started going to the gym aswell to try and get fitter.

Best bet is to ring and find out the nights they train.

I'd say you've a good enough chance with them.

Thats for the one in cobh. Cobh produced a few good boxers to.
I doubt you'll find anyone your own height in there though. Atleast they can practice their peeka boos :)

WTH, I was born on the same day as you, am around the same size (5"11-6"0 and a fairly fit 130kg, hello 17" biceps :P) and want to get into boxing aswell.

Who are some of your favourite fighters? Mines Ali, Foreman and Tyson.
