I have a laptop that I have hooked up to a projector. For some reason its weird and I need to lower the resoltion before it will display the image on the projector, and then I change it back. Its a pain going into the proiperties each time ect, is there a way to set up a desktop shorcut for 800x600 etc etc - or another easier way around it?
    Thanks

Sounds like you have the laptop set to "clone view" e.g. show what is on my screen on the projector and the projector will only output @ 800x600.

Doing what you are doing right now is prob the easiest way of doing things.

You could try set the projector up as an independent 2nd display, this requires a little playing around with if you an inexperienced with dual monitor setups and can get a little annoying at the best of times :pac:.

I would say stick with what you are doing and try powerstrip. Less headache in the long run.
