OK so the CAO change of mind deadline is coming up soon. I'm just looking for peoples opinions on what are the most important factors when deciding what course/career you want to do? Thanks!

Personally anything that'd give me a one-way ticket out of this country. But that's just me. Other things... Workload... Enough to keep one busy (since we might not have as many part time jobs come September/October). The actual place as well, best to visit it and just see if you like the FEEL of the place.

But ultimately what you're interested in. A friend of mine is well capable of getting over 500 points, and some people suggested she do medicine. The only trouble is a) she prefers languages b) she hates most people anyway and c) isn't the kind of person who'd care if a complete stranger had terminal illness or not.

Yeah, so ultimately I'd put it down to interest.

Some person more cleverer than me said that if you get a career in something you love, you'll never work a day of your life.
I agree with that and followed something I really love doing. I don't see the point in slaving for 40 hours a week so you can drive a bigger car. Perhaps that's just me, but I would advise you to do what you really want to do. The rest will follow.
