Hope this is the right place... If not, admin please move..

Part of my job description is 'Environmental manager'. Being a print company that uses a large quantity of solvents every year we have an IPC (Integrated Pollution Control) license which was issued by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) some years back. Complying with the license requirements has been a problem for us in past years.
The other day I visited a print company which we deal with from time to time. Turns out the other company has suffered many of the same problems as us and I was able to learn a stack from their experiences.

Hang in there, I'm getting to the point...

A search of the internet reveals that there is no place we can go to discuss these issues and seek advice with companies in the same boat. I'm sure we could learn something from each other, not only with regards to IPC license compliance but also for the sake of our environment.

    Bottom line:
I'm considering beginning a forum for the above.
It's easy purchasing the web space and forum software, but I have some concerns.

    1. What are the legal requirements when running a forum?
    2. Is there legislation that has to be adhered to?
    3. And if so where can this be found?
    4. Are there any other issues I should consider?
