taxing a van

    I just bought a new van it has a doe and i have it insured but no tax yet. do i have to wait for the log book to come back before taxing it or can i do it without. i do a lot of miles and dont want to have to keep explaining o i just bought it last month every time i see a cop car

    just DOE Cert (I think) ... goto Tax office and they'll let ya know :P

    My tax is up later this month.

    ok thanks just wanted to make sure before i went to the trouble of queing for ever. God i hate the tax office
