Convert avi to a DVD

I have an avi file on my computer about 2 hours in length which I can watch on RealPlayer. *I am a complete IDIOT when it comes to technology.*
Can I burn this to a DVD without paying for software and in a not-too-complicated way?
I have normal blank DVD's which are 4.7GB- would this be enough?

You could try this http://media-convert.com/ No software to download, but it took me quite a while to convert a file of 127 mbs (about 50 minutes long) and burn it to DVD. But it's free and relatively straightforward
