He is wazzing me off. Big time. He keeps jumping to conclusions during this match and then he is proved wrong.

Actaully Taylor / Virgo is not a bad combination, and Ken is doing ok for
    a newbie.

Willie is butting in at every opportunity. Ken is, to be fair, a natural for this and is talking sense. Taylor and Ken would be good.

Yea agreed, he's 2 much of an expert!!!

Whats the verdict on Griffiths?? I've actually got to really like him this year.....
Def think he's the best, closely followed by Taylor....

    Griffiths is very good.

Taylor is very natural to listen to. He enjoys doing it. Thorne is just forcing it.

Haha JV really adds to the atmosphere. My favourite things is when the match is coming to conclusion, the winning player hasn't yet potted Match ball and the commentators are summing up the match saying how good the loser was and how well they both played.

Yeah, Ken needs to speak up. I imagine he's been practicing his new commentator voice at home infront of the mirror but it needs a bit more oomph.

anytime wille thorne is commentating, i switch over to eurosport.
I cant stand him..SHUT THE FCUK UP FOR 2 MINUTES FFS!!

Its as if he feels the need to explain every little feckin thing to us "dumb" viewers.

And how or why or what the hell is goin on with clive everton been dropped in place of ken doherthy for the semis and final???:confused:

ken is only startin out as a commentator, so he needs more experience before he gets a semi final...dont get me wrong i like Ken, but hes not a patch on clive everton!!

Its all very stressful indeed :D

:D True! I've long thought that but regard it as his trade mark now.

I used to dislike Willie Thorne, but he's not too bad really. He's a little controversial and that's a good thing. But yes, he can be annoying. I hate the way he always comments on the fact that "This professional match tables have much tighter pockets than your club tables". We know, don't keep going on about it!

Critising players when they're better than he ever was is a bit ridiculous too, but sure that's what everyone does. Eamon Dunphy does it all the time and people love him for it. Willie usually makes valid points so I guess you can forgive him.

Willie "this next shot is key" Thorne pi**es me off to be honest!

I find the way he criticizes other players as if he never missed a ball in his career particularly hard to swallow.

Oh yes, the legendary "blue of extreme simplicity"!

    Here's an interesting statistic:

look at the list of players who have made 100+ centuries in there career, it also tells you how many seasons as a pro it took to hit 100.

Willie Thorne took the longest - 19 seasons, and he has only made 126 in his career. Fuc*ing Darren Morgan hit 100 quicker than he did!

    Maximum Man me ar*e!
