We've got a 01 Avensis 1.6 with a worn ignition switch, anyone ever have this replaced on a 01-03 Avensis? Does the car need recoding afterwards?

transponder reader is seperate to the ignition AFAIK, if no keys are being replaced then you shouldn't need reprograming.
